Flows - Save and Load - Request Credentials on Launch?
Hello!
I'm building a flow that will be configured for Save/Load operations, and the client will be accessing the flow via a URL that's emailed to them.
I like the way that I have the security situation set up, but what I don't have together is this:
When the client opens the form, I'd like for it to ask for credentials at that point. I can't seem to figure this out. If I just go to the URL, I'm denied access without being given the opportunity to log in.
Can I make it prompt for login on form access?
What do you think?
Thanks!
.

Hi Chris,
Please confirm if your have set the flow's 'Who can use this flow' ACL to Public In Tenant.
Thanks,

Hello! If I choose Public In Tenant, I've attached the error I get when I go to access the flow via it's URL. Thanks!

Right now I have it set to Public, and it's great in that if I hit Save it'll prompt for credentials, BUT after I enter valid credentials I get an error stating: The action could not be completed. This can happen if your session is expired or if you are editing the same form/flow in multiple sessions. I don't seem to meet that criteria, so the error's a bit of a mystery... Thanks!

Which version of frevvo are you using? Can you download your flow and attach it here?

You bet! I'm on 6.1.3.26472, and my flow is attached. It is a super simple form, and I'm using it only as a test bed for proving that I can safely park a form and then return to it later for completion and submission. Thanks!

1. I am not able to reproduce the error that you get when flow is Public In Tenant. Can you confirm that you are browsing the correct URL?
2. The error that you see on clicking Save is happening because Save to User property is selected on first step of the flow. Please uncheck that property to resolve that error.
Thanks,
Prajakta

OK, I do seem to be using the correct URL, because if I change the ACL to Public I can hit the form with no problem. I unchecked the Save to User box and still get the same error. Thanks for your help, too!

My URL has the user name of the tenant admin in there. Is that a problem?: http://localhost:8082/frevvo/web/tn/Dahill/user/d/app/_JAiVwIPlEeW0ZJnI4WvtPA/flowtype/_lGasQIPuEeW0ZJnI4WvtPA/embed?container=true&resize=true

The URL does not look right. It should be either:
Link (Email/Web page): http://localhost:8082/frevvo/web/tn/Dahill/user/d/app/_JAiVwIPlEeW0ZJnI4WvtPA/flowtype/_lGasQIPuEeW0ZJnI4WvtPA/popupform
or
Raw flow link: http://localhost:8082/frevvo/web/tn/Dahill/user/d/app/_JAiVwIPlEeW0ZJnI4WvtPA/flowtype/_lGasQIPuEeW0ZJnI4WvtPA?_method=post&embed=true

About the error on clicking Save: looks like it was a bug (#12798) in older versions of frevvo. It was fixed in frevvo v6.2.

Hmmm... I tried your URL's and get the same error, so THAT's weird! BUT, maybe I just need to upgrade. Is that difficult? Is that licensed under Square-9's GlobalForms6 arrangement? Thank you!

Yes, please contact Square 9 about the upgrade process for Global Forms.

SO, if I set things up to log on when the form is first accessed, I wonder if I have something set up wrong in the tenant? You're not getting an error, but I am, so I wonder if it's how I have something set up with the user end of things... Square-9 is telling me that they only have through 6.1 licensed as GlobalfForms6, which was not great to hear...

OK, I'm safely out of the water, and very much appreciate your help! Here's how I'm pulling it all together what what it is that I have:
My content management system will send the users an email letting them know to fill out the form, and will have two URL's as hyperlinks in that email.
Link 1: Takes the user to their login page, where they'll log in
Link 2: Pops open the form, and from there they can Save it if needed.
Works great, and just takes an extra step, which the client won't mind.
Once again, thanks for your help!
