My email submission is missing the newlines from the textarea data

My form has a textarea control. When the users fill this form they enter a long description into this field which often contains newlines. My form submission is configured to send an email with this text in the email message body. But all the newlines from the textarea are stripped out of the message.

  Newlines in textarea fields are removed when the textarea value is used in doc action Email message. This is actually a feature of html. It can be turned off using the html "pre" tag. Refer the documentation for Email Integration.
