UPDATE: This issue has been resolved in the v10.1.7 patch. Please see the v10.1.7 release notes and perform a patch upgrade to resolve this issue.
Users may experience an error when attempting to reject a step back to a prior step in the latest Chrome (v94) and Edge browsers. This issue was triggered with the latest browser upgrade. Our developers are working to resolve this and expect to implement a fix in the next patch release (TIP-30768).
Who is affected?
Cloud Customers and On Premise customers who have the workflow step rejection feature enabled may experience this issue on the latest Chrome (v94) and Edge browsers. When a user performs a task from the task.perform.url and then clicks the Reject button, they will see Application Error: Oops. Something has gone wrong. Please try the action again or contact support if you continue to have problems.
This issue does not occur when using the Firefox browser. It also does not occur when rejecting tasks from the Task List or inside a frevvo Space.
Actions Required
One interim workaround is to use the Firefox browser instead of Chrome or Edge. Another interim workaround may be to have internal users perform their tasks from their Task List or Space to avoid seeing this error.
