frevvo uses a Chrome/Chromium browser to generate PDF Snapshots for your forms/workflows. Browser updates can sometimes cause unintended issues. The latest Google Chrome update may cause your PDF Snapshot to not be generated. If you are impacted, you will see errors in the logs like this:
- Rejected an incoming WebSocket connection from the http://localhost:51891 origin. Use the command line flag --remote-allow-origins=http://localhost:51891 to allow connections from this origin or --remote-allow-origins=* to allow all origins.
- Failed connecting to ws server ws://localhost:51891/devtools/browser/c398fbcf-a725-4b34-b5c8-c8493b664b4d...
- javax.websocket.DeploymentException: Handshake error.

To resolve this, please follow these instructions to uninstall chrome (on the frevvo server) and install an older version (version 104.0.5112.81 is known to be working.)
We have logged a product ticket (TIP-32418) for this issue and our engineers are working on a solution.

We also recommend turning off automatic browser updates on your frevvo server. Browser updates should be performed manually after hours and tested to ensure there are no issues with generating PDFs in your production forms and workflows.
We appreciate you trusting frevvo with your mission-critical applications. It is our goal to always provide you with the highest quality of service possible.
Thank you,
